Introduction - Second generation of Aerial Photo Systems

Aerial Photography Systems from Aero Drum ltd are a result of 5 years of making & testing. From choosing the right materials to a complete product everything went trough a real life test. Personally with our Aerial Photo Systems we have made more than 20.000 Aerial Photos in all weather conditions. From -10 to +50 Celsius. In moderate and higher wind conditions. With the first generation and classical zeppelin shape we have started to collect necessary data to make  better systems. Aldo we have worked more than 2 years with such systems several problems where detected:
1. Wind resistance up to 5-6 miles/h when one directional winds
2. Electrostatic charge of the envelope affected electronic equipment
3. After certain wind velocity “falling bomb” effect was detected
4. Huge helium consumption
5.  Storage problem


So in January 2007 we have tested a new Aerial Photo System type (second generation). All the above problems where dramatically reduced or completely disappeared. Based on those experiences now we are making three system types:

  1. MA-01-07 DS1 for SLR and Compact Digital Cameras - up to 3 kg
  2. MA-01-07 DS1/B for Light SLR &Compact Cameras - up to 1,3 kg
  3. MA-01-09E For light Compact Cameras - up to 500 g
